These terms are an agreement between you and Zalmir LLC. They cover the Zalmir website, the Console and the API. By creating an account or using the API, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
Who we are
Zalmir is operated by Zalmir LLC. Contact: support@zalmir.ai.
Who can use Zalmir
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You may not use Zalmir if you are subject to US sanctions or live in a country under comprehensive US sanctions. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements; we screen accounts, payments and access against US sanctions and export rules and may pause an account while a possible match is reviewed. If you use Zalmir for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it to these terms.
Account and API keys
Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for requests made with your keys, including by anyone you give them to. You can set a spending limit on each key and revoke a key at any time in the Console. If you think a key has leaked, revoke it and tell us.
Credits
- Zalmir is prepaid. You add credit by sending USDC on the Solana network to your account's deposit address or from a wallet you linked. Each USDC received adds one US dollar of credit, less the top-up fee below.
- Only USDC on Solana is credited. Other tokens or networks, or sending to the wrong address, may be lost and cannot be credited automatically. You pay the Solana network fee from your wallet.
- A deposit counts once it is final on the Solana network and recorded to your account. Until then it is not spendable.
- Credit is not money, earns no interest, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be moved to another account. It can only be spent on Zalmir.
- USDC deposits are non-refundable. If you close your account, unused credit is not refunded. If we close it because you broke these terms, unused credit is forfeited.
- We may expire credit that is unused 365 days after you bought it. We will tell you at least 30 days before expiring any credit.
- If we decide to stop offering Zalmir, we will tell you at least 30 days before the service ends so you can use your remaining credit.
- If we make an error, such as missing or duplicate credit or a wrong charge, we correct it as credit to your balance. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Top-up fee
Zalmir charges a fee on each top-up. The rate depends on your total top-ups before that one:
- below $1,000: 2.5%
- from $1,000: 2%
- from $10,000: 1.5%
- from $100,000: 1%
The fee is rounded down to the nearest millionth of a dollar. Your account page shows your current rate before you send. We will give notice before changing these rates.
Prices and charges
- Each endpoint lists a price per million input tokens and per million output tokens. Models from a provider cost the provider's own price; Zalmir adds no markup. Independent sellers set their own prices, and the price shown for a seller's endpoint already includes Zalmir's fee.
- You are charged for each request's tokens at the prices shown when it starts. Charges are kept in millionths of a dollar.
- A request that fails is not charged, and the amount held for it is released. A request is charged once Zalmir has sent the complete response; if your connection drops after that, it is still charged.
- You cannot spend more than your balance. Zalmir sets no other spending cap.
Your own provider keys
You can connect your own key for a provider that Zalmir supports. Requests through that key use your provider account: the provider charges you, and its terms and policies apply. Zalmir charges nothing on these requests. You are responsible for that account and for keeping the key valid.
Your content
You keep your rights in the prompts you send and, as far as the law and the model's license allow, in the responses you receive. You let Zalmir and the provider or seller you choose process your content only to run your request. We do not use your content to train models and do not sell it.
For independent-seller endpoints: Seller can see prompts. Providers have their own data policies; read the provider policies before sending sensitive content. Do not put passwords, API keys or other secrets in prompts.
You are responsible for what you send and for checking responses before relying on them. Models can be wrong.
Acceptable use
Do not use Zalmir to:
- break the law, or violate the terms or usage policies of the model or provider you use;
- create or share sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits or endangers anyone;
- attack, probe or overload Zalmir, other customers, providers or sellers;
- get around key limits, sanctions checks, account freezes or other controls, including with extra accounts;
- pay with funds that come from a crime.
What our checks mean
A response marked X-Zalmir-Verified: true carried a valid signature from the endpoint that served it. That proves who signed the bytes, not which model produced the answer or that the answer is accurate or safe.
Suspension and closing
You can delete your account in the Console at any time; your keys stop working at once. We may suspend a key or an account to protect you, other customers or the service, or while we review a possible violation or sanctions match. A suspension is not a closure. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Beta
Zalmir is in Beta. Models, providers, features and prices can change, and some features may be unavailable. We try to give notice of changes that matter to you.
Disclaimers
Zalmir is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any model or provider will be available, or that any response is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Zalmir LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and is not liable for what providers, sellers or the Solana network do. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the top-up fees and usage charges you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Claims can be made only against Zalmir LLC, not against its owners, managers or agents personally. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to, such as for fraud.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against Zalmir LLC because of content you sent or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
Delaware law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both of us accept their jurisdiction. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to resolve the problem. Either of us may use small-claims court. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class or group action, and both of us give up the right to a jury trial, to the extent the law allows. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your home country gives you that cannot be waived by contract.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date and, for material changes, tell you in the Console or by email before they apply. Changes apply going forward. If you do not agree, stop using Zalmir and you may delete your account.
